The Columbus Council has announced a temporary change in location for its upcoming meeting as city leaders prepare to vote on two highly debated proposals that have sparked weeks of public discussion.
The meeting, originally scheduled to take place in the council chamber, will instead be held at the Muscogee County Public Education Center Board Room. Despite the venue change, the meeting will proceed at its regularly scheduled time and will remain accessible to the public through a live online broadcast.
Why the Meeting Was Moved
City officials said the relocation is tied to local runoff elections taking place on the same day.
