Alabama Supreme Court authorizes death sentence for man convicted in Kamarie Holland murder

PHENIX CITY, Ala. (WRBL) — There has been a development in the case of Jeremy Williams, a man convicted in Phenix City for the brutal 2021 sexual assault and murder of 5-year-old Kamarie Holland.

The Alabama Supreme Court ordered on Tuesday that the Department of Corrections and Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey move forward with the execution of Williams.
