COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — One person is dead after a homicide that happened on Thursday evening at 678 McCartha Dr., according to Coroner Buddy Bryan.
Bryan says a 25-year-old Black male was pronounced dead at the scene around 7:15 p.m. after suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
Bryan says the shooting was a result of domestic violence. The victim’s mother has been notified, and the Columbus Police Department (CPD) has a person of interest.
