Columbus Police Arrest 26 During Crime Suppression Operation, Seize Stolen Guns and Drugs

COLUMBUS, Ga. — The Columbus Police Department’s Special Operations Unit arrested 26 people, recovered two stolen firearms, and seized drugs and cash during a citywide crime suppression operation conducted on June 12.

According to police, the enforcement detail focused on proactive policing efforts aimed at reducing crime and targeting criminal activity throughout Columbus.
