Isolated Father’s Day Storms; Drier Weather On The Way!

FATHER’S DAY:Welcome to Summer! Today is not only Father’s Day, but also the first official day of Summer. Good news is, we’ll be slightly below average with highs in the mid to upper 80s. We’ll see some showers and storms again today, but definitely looking much more isolated compared to yesterday, where we saw just over an inch of rain in Columbus.

THIS WEEK:We’ll start out the week with isolated to scattered showers and storms each day thanks to a front approaching from our north, keeping us warm and moist, and sending several waves of storms. Highs each day throughThursday will be near 90, then low 90s as we head into the upcoming weekend. One thing to keep in mind, with all that moisture, and temps near 90, those heat index values will range from mid 90s to about 100°, so it will feel hotter at times.

UPCOMING WEEKEND:The upcoming weekend is trending drier and warmer as we see our pattern start to flip from a trough to a ridge. Highs over the weekend will be in the low 90s with just a stray shower or storm possible…
