Former recycler earns US Army Ranger honor

The Columbus, Georgia-based National [United States Army] Ranger Memorial Foundation (NRMF) has announced that its executive director, Blair Brown, will be inducted into the U.S. Army Ranger Hall of Fame as an honorary member.

With his induction, long-time recycling company executive Blair joins his father, Major (Ret.) Roger Brown, who was a 2004 inductee, to become the second father-son pair ever enshrined in the hall.

Roger Brown founded Columbus-based All-American Recycling, which specialized in recovered paper recycling, in the 1980s. His son Blair joined that firm and eventually served in leadership roles for the firm before it was sold in 2018…
