COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) – The United Way of the Chattahoochee Valley gave a presentation on affordable housing challenges during this week’s Columbus City Council meeting. One of the concerns presented is what officials call “missing middle housing.”
The United Way of the Chattahoochee Valley presented a plan forward for the city of Columbus based on a study done by Georgia Tech over the past couple of years. A core challenge shown in the study is what researchers called the housing mobility gap.
