COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — Happy Wednesday! We are tracking some changes in the forecast. Today, a strong heat dome has set up across the Southeast. This is bringing warm temperatures to many of us.
The area of high pressure will weaken tomorrow and start to move westward. This will help our temperatures cool off! Get ready for morning lows in the 60s on Thursday and Friday. While the morning will be cool, we will be tracking some toasty afternoon temperatures.
We are also watching some isolated showers and storms on Friday evening. The good news is that it doesn’t look like a washout for Friday Night Football.
Isolated/scattered showers will linger at the beginning of the weekend, but conditions will dry back out on Sunday. Temperatures will stay in the lower 90s, with lows in the low-70s…
