PHENIX CITY, Ala. — Four months after 36-year-old Harvey Lee Walker was shot and killed at the Colonial Inn on Highway 280, his family is speaking out — as one of the people accused in his death remains on the run.
Walker, a father of four, was killed inside a room at the motel back in May. Investigators say two suspects now face capital murder charges in connection with his death, while three others are charged with hindering prosecution and tampering with evidence.
One of the accused killers, Tisha Gibson, has an active warrant for capital murder and has not been located. Family members say Gibson was dating Walker at the time of his death. A second suspect facing capital murder charges, Tionne Carreker, is already in custody…
