PHENIX CITY, Ala. (WTVM) – A new mental health treatment facility is being planned for 25th Avenue in Phenix City, according to Integrea Community Health Systems.
According to the National Alliance on Mental Illness, one in five adults in Alabama experience mental illness each year. Integrea officials said the new facility will bring more resources to the community.
Organization has worked in East Alabama for decades
Integrea Community Health Systems has worked in East Alabama on mental health treatment and resources for over 60 years. The organization currently operates centers in Tallapoosa, Chambers, Russell and Lee counties.
