COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) – Officials in the Chattahoochee Valley are urging residents to prepare for severe weather as a possible tropical storm approaches from the Gulf of Mexico.
Chance Corbett, director of emergency management, said it is too early to determine the storm’s exact path but anticipates strong winds and heavy rain.
“We don’t exactly know where it will make landfall or the trajectory that it will go once it’s inland so obviously that will change our effort as we go forward,” Corbett said.
