COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) – A 10-year-old amateur boxer known as “Dreco” is set to appear on the “Jennifer Hudson Show” Wednesday and is training for USA Boxing Nationals in Louisiana in December.
Adriel Simmons, a Columbus fifth grader, is also a cross-country runner and a social media influencer with more than 230,000 followers.
Training schedule
Dreco said he usually gets up around 5 a.m. to run five miles, five days a week. He said he ran five miles in 42 minutes.
“If I’m going to run five miles, I’ll usually get up around five o’clock… I run my five miles and today I ran five miles in 42 minutes,” Dreco said…
