COLUMBUS, Ga. ( WRBL ) – The Columbus Police have identified a suspect in the Wednesday shooting on Fleming Avenue that left one dead and is seeking public help to locate her.
According to CPD, on Wednesday around 3:13 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 900 block of Fleming Avenue to a report about a shooting.
After arriving on the scene, officers found 48-year-old Lacoya Whittlesey suffering from a gunshot wound. CPD says a preliminary investigation was opened and revealed 35-year-old Rwanda Hill as the suspect.
