PHENIX CITY, Ala. (WTVM) – Phenix City authorities continue their search for answers in a homicide investigation near Fontaine Road. Investigators with the Phenix City Police Department say on Oct. 27, 2023, at about 1:15 p.m., the police department’s patrol division responded to a call on Brickyard Road near Fontaine Road in reference to a dead body.
