Mid-week sunshine adds to a February warm-up

Columbus, Ga (WRBL)- A strong ridge of high pressure will bring another day of clear crisp conditions in the morning along with some patchy frost. Most readings will remain in the mid-30s for morning readings.  Tomorrow afternoon will remain pleasant with the lower 60s for afternoon high temperatures.

Getting prepared for severe weather

The forecast will continue to warm despite the high cloudiness overriding this dome of high pressure. The southern branch of the jet stream is quite active…so we will begin to see increasing moisture Saturday night through Monday in waves of showers and a few embedded storms.

Readings will remain average for the extended forecast, with no sign of arctic air.
