FT. MITCHELL, Ala. (WTVM) – A teenage girl is injured after a shooting occurred Monday evening in Ft. Mitchell. According to Russell County Sheriff, Heath Taylor the teenager was shot on Monday, Feb. 8 around 6:30 p.m. when a suspect shot into a Ft. Mitchell home. Officials say the incident started when a fight escalated between the injured teenager and another teenager girl , which then escalated an altercation between two males juveniles.
