After some showers this morning, look for occasional showers the rest of the morning and afternoon, then we could see a few storms this evening. Highs today will be near 70°.
After midnight, we transition from just some showers to a possible storm threat, and some of these storms could be strong to severe. But, this all depends on whether or not earlier showers and storms haven’t depleted the unstable air.
If storms do form, the main threats will be damaging wind gusts up to 60 mph, heavy rainfall with up to 2 inches possible, some small hail will be possible in the stronger storms, and there is a low end tornado risk. We will also be Weather Aware tonight through tomorrow, so stay tuned to your First Alert Weather Team as we track the latest on this storm system.
Tuesday, conditions improve greatly as sunshine returns with highs near 60°.
Wednesday, Valentine’s Day, after some patchy morning frost, things warm up with highs in the middle 60s with lots of sunshine.
Thursday will be another dry day with mostly sunny conditions and highs in the upper 60s.
