The National Weather Service issued an updated flood warning at 3:46 a.m. on Friday in effect until noon for Lee and Russell counties. The weather service comments, “Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. The next statement will be issued this afternoon at noon /noon CST/.”
