COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) – The clouds look to stick around this evening and overnight leading to partly cloudy to mostly cloudy skies, but dry conditions. Monday morning expect temperatures to range from the low- to mid-30s, before climbing into the low- to mid-60s. Tuesday expect morning temperatures in the upper-20s to low-30s and thanks to clearer skies overnight some areas of patchy frost will develop. Both Monday and Tuesday expect seasonable temperatures and lots of sunshine. Temperatures will warm to the low- to mid-70s Wednesday and Thursday ahead of the next front. The cold front will push through the Valley late week bringing a chance of showers into the forecast Thursday overnight and early Friday morning. We will continue to fine tune the coverage and timing of the rain over the coming days. After the front moves through dry conditions and sunshine return for the next weekend and the beginning of the week. Temperatures will feel very spring-like as we close out the month of February in the mid-70s.
