Sergeant Newton DAR and members of Shiloh Methodist Church at Almon recently took a day to work on revitalizing the history at Shiloh Cemetery. Chapter members as well as church members cleaned headstones of past saints and babies alike, and the stones that were once covered in dirt, sediment and lichen are now gleaming. Church members Melanie and Keith Dobbs, Kaye Hood, Allan McDonald and Chuck and Dianne Garrett, along with DAR members Marcia Floyd, Janet Pietrobono and Linda Richardson took part in the project. Another cleanup day is planned for Nov. 2.
