Mostly Dry Through The Weekend, Then We Watch The Gulf!

For Saturday expect partly to mostly cloudy conditions. North of Columbus, you’ll see some more sunshine, whereas South of town, you’ll see mostly cloudy skies. A front to our north will continue to sag southward and some isolated showers could pop up out ahead of it later today. Highs today will be in the low to mid 80s.

Sunday will be very similar, north of town you’ll have the better chance of seeing sunshine. Only difference is, any showers that form, will be mainly south of Columbus. Highs on Sunday will be in the mid 80s.

The first part of the work week looks pretty good with most of the cloud cover south of us as we stay dry Monday, Tuesday, and most of Wednesday. Highs will be in the mid 80s Monday and Tuesday, with low to mid 80s on Wednesday with more clouds returning late along with a chance for some showers.

Thursday and Friday look to wet at times with the rain exiting out in time for the weekend. There is a bit of uncertainty of the magnitude of the late week system, as it will be originating from the Gulf. Will we be talking about just an area of low pressure, or will we be talking about a tropical system influencing our weather? That remains to be seen, so stay tuned for the latest.
