COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) – The West Central Georgia Coalition hosted its annual Celebration of Life Butterfly Release Saturday morning. A recent study shows, 1 in 8 women in the U.S. will be diagnosed with breast cancer and 2.5% of those diagnosed won’t survive the disease. The West Central Georgia Cancer Coalition hosted its annual butterfly release Saturday in an effort to celebrate survivors and remember those who have passed away from breast cancer.
