COLUMBUS, Ga. ( WRBL ) — A local shelter is opening its doors as the Chattahoochee Valley prepares for Hurricane Helene.
Valley Rescue Mission’s emergency men’s shelter is located at 2403 2nd Ave. Women can head to 1200 11th Ave.
Both shelters will be open from 5 p.m. on Thursday through 6 a.m. on Friday.
