Another seasonal day ahead as a dry front moves through

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — Good Tuesday morning! Clouds rolled into the region overnight so you will start the day off cloudy with a few breaks and temperatures falling into the 60s. A comfortable start temperature wise with readings staying seasonal by the afternoon.

Afternoon highs climb back into the mid 80s by the afternoon under a mix of sun and clouds. Readings are slightly above average, but we will still call it seasonal for now as we’ve rolled into a new month. A dry front drops into the southeast late tonight and early Wednesday; however, it has no impact on us as it just washes out. Temperatures remain in the mid 80s with a few seeing some upper 80s.

We are keeping a close eye on potential tropical action again coming out of the western Caribbean, but thankfully as this time, the energy looks weak and with the help of several fronts it should remain to our south across Florida. However, the storm could wring out a few light showers by Friday.

Extended forecast is trending cooler with temperatures in the low 80s through the weekend and early part of next week.
