COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — Good Friday morning! Our coolest start to the day since earlier this spring with temperatures falling into the upper 40s and low 50s.
Clear skies will remain throughout the morning and as we head into the afternoon and evening. High temperatures will remain in the mid to low 70s through most of the afternoon with temperatures topping out eventually in the upper 70s.
Heading into the weekend, temperatures again tumble and bottom out in the mid to upper 40s across rural regions of the viewing area. A few low 50s will be likely as well. Conditions remain unchanged as we go throughout the day with plenty of sunny blue skies and highs near 80. Sunday will see a tad warmer temperatures both in the morning and afternoon with highs in the mid 80s.
The week starts off warmer than average for Monday, but a reinforcing cold front helps usher in much cooler temperatures. Morning lows fall into the 40s with afternoon highs struggling to reach 70 degrees while we stay dry and sunny.
