Opelika Police Department are sounding the alarm after a caller reported false information regarding a possible shooting at a busy fast food joint. The department received a 911 call reporting shots fired at 12:38 pm on Friday, October 11, 2024, at the McDonalds in Tiger Town. The caller reported that someone had possibly been shot and people were fleeing the business.
