Man with scribbles on his face allegedly threatened to blow up the Opelika Ulta

OPELIKA, Ala. (WRBL) – A Louisiana man remains in custody at the Lee County Detention Center after being charged with allegations of making a terrorist threat outside an Opelika beauty store over the weekend.

Timothy Lincoln, 42, of Buras, Louisiana, is accused of making a violent threat leading to the evacuation of Ulta Beauty along Enterprise Drive in the Tiger Town shopping complex. According to a complaint filed with the Lee County District Court, on the morning of October 19, 2024, Lincoln was allegedly overheard by an Ulta employee while making a phone call outside the business. During the call, Lincoln reportedly said, “I’m going to blow this (expletive) up!” The remark prompted an evacuation of store employees and customers.

Opelika police were called to the scene, and Lincoln was taken into custody. His mugshot, obtained by WRBL, shows writings and markings in various colors all across Lincoln’s face. Officials have not commented on the markings. Lincoln has been banned from Ulta.
