COLUMBUS, Ga (WRBL)- We had another beautiful day as a weak cold front moved through the region. A few lucky areas even saw a light pop up shower this evening, but most remained dry.
Tomorrow: Overnight, conditions will remain breezy behind the front as lows dip into the upper 50s/ lower 60s. Highs will trend cooler for the start of the school week, struggling to get out of the 70s.
School Week: Warm 80s will return by midweek thanks to high pressure becoming dominant once again. Gusty winds up to 25 mph will be possible through Thursday morning. Expect clear morning and afternoon clouds for the end of the work week.
Weekend: A front will arrive Friday that will likely not bring rain but will help temperatures to cool back into the 70s by Sunday.
TROPICS: We are monitoring an area in the Caribbean that has a 40% of development next week. There is a lot of uncertainty whether this system will enter the gulf due to a cold front moving through the Southeast at the same time.
