FORT MOORE, Ga. ( WRBL ) — The Fort Moore Maneuver Center of Excellence says it will be conducted controlled burns in two areas Monday.
According to Fort Moore, the burns will take place in the C47 and C48 training areas. The Maneuver Center says the burns are being done to help with tree planting in the areas.
Officials with the Maneuver Center say the wind is predicted to come in from the East and will help keep smoke away from sensitive areas.
