COLUMBUS, Ga. ( WRBL ) — Tuesday, the Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office arrested a validated gang member wanted in two states.
Ricardo Samayoa was arrested as part of a joint operation involving the the Columbus Police Department, United States Marshal’s Services, and the FBI. According to the sheriff’s office Samayoa is a validated gang member and was also wanted by multiple agencies for various violent felony warrants in two states.
Samayoa was arrested on the following charges:
- Felony Aggravated Assault – 12 Counts
- Felony Criminal Damage To Property 2nd Degree – 2 Counts
- Felony Armed Robbery By Firearm
- Felony Aggravated Assault With Intent To Commit A Felony
- Felony Grand Theft
- Felony Violation Of Probation – 2 Counts
The Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office says Samayoa was wanted in connection to a shooting on Cusseta Road which saw a school bus caught in the crossfire . The office says Samayoa was taking into custody without incident and has been transported to the Muscogee County Jail.
