FORT MOORE, Ga. ( WRBL ) — Fort Moore announced more prescribed burns will be take place November 1.
The Maneuver Center of Excellence said the burns will take place within the C49, C53 and N09 training areas.
According to the Maneuver Center the burn areas range from 3 to 15 acres in size, are being burned to facilitate tree planting.
