The forecast rises nearly 10 degrees above average, with no rain expected for a week

COLUMBUS, GA. (WRBL) -We are going to experience warmer than average days ahead, until we can actually get a cold front through this entire region.

The forecast now is showing us moisture and a few showers lifting ahead of the front, with good energy associated with the physical front.

Readings will remain well above average in the forecast averaging 10 degrees above the average of 74°. The next opportunity for measurable rainfall appears to be ahead of the front starting as early as next Thursday.

Until this time, overnight low readings will remain mild dropping only to the mid 60s and daytime highs will climb close to the mid 80s.

The tropics are still ripe for development, with an active western Caribbean and tropical Atlantic. It appears our cold front and timing will be critical sometime around the 8th and 9th of November.
