Columbus, Ga (WRBL)- Tracking a cold front that is bringing more clouds for the end of your school week. While there are showers with this front, these will likely fizzle out before they move into the area.
Temperatures will vary depending on how far south the front gets. Northern counties will struggle to get out of the lower 70s, but further south we could still see 80s.
Weekend: A great weekend forecast ahead! Expect a few passing clouds each day and cooling temperatures. Highs will cool off into the lower 80s/upper 70s by Sunday. Winds will strengthen, gusting up to 30mph at times. Plus, daylight savings ends Sunday at 2AM, so we gain an extra hour of sleep Saturday night!
Election Day: While most areas will remain dry, there will be a possibility of pop up showers on Election Day. Highs will be in the lower 80s.
Next Week: Rain chances will remain in the forecast through the end of next week, but it will be hit or miss. A front will move through Thursday that will try to keep tropical activity out of our local forecast.
