Few showers Friday; Tracking Hurricane Rafael

COLUMBUS, Ga (WRBL)- Another day of cloudy skies and humid weather for your Thursday. Showers remain off to east for now, but will return tomorrow.

Tomorrow: For Friday, expect clouds to linger and stray showers starting tomorrow morning. These passing showers will continue through the evening. Temperatures will trend slightly warmer, remaining in the upper 70s.

Saturday: front arriving this weekend will keep showers in the forecast. Pop up showers will be possible starting Saturday afternoon, and winds will begin to pick up behind the front that evening.

Sunday & Monday: Rain coverage will be better Sunday and Monday as the front struggles to move out. Highs will cool into the lower 70s Sunday. Winds will continue to gust up to 25 mph through Monday morning.

Next Week: We will get a break from the rain and a little more sunshine midweek, but rain will return by Thursday. A stronger front will begin to move through Thursday that will bring showers and storms that afternoon. Highs will cool into the lower 70s, with lows in to upper 50s.
