A cold front arrives Thursday, ushering in cooler weather and a dash of rainfall

COLUMBUS, GA. (WRBL)- The forecast will become cooler and more like fall finally, since our last cool front back in mid-October. This will not be as cold but it will be noticeably cooler and chilly for the extended forecast from a front that moves through Thursday.

After the front sweeps through, expect much cooler readings with plenty of sun and no rain in the extended forecast until next Tuesday. The rain next Tuesday will likely be a combination of a cool front and tropical moisture from what is likely Sara.

Enjoy mid 40 readings in the morning and lower 70s for daytime high temperatures.
