COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — Good Monday morning! Off to a chilly start as we start another work week with temperatures in the upper 40s and low 50s. A few areas of patchy dense fog possible across some rural counties of the viewing area.
The day ahead will see plenty of sunshine with a few clouds building late this evening ahead of a strong cold front set to push through the region Tuesday.

Behind this front expect a big cool down. Temperatures drop into the 40s by Thursday morning with highs struggling to reach 50s by the afternoon with Friday likely one of the coldest days of the forecast with temperatures dipping into the 30s.
Early look at the weekend forecast will be chilly, dry and sunny as high pressure remains hold on the extended forecast.
