One killed in Christmas morning apartment fire in Columbus

A tragic start to Christmas as one person has been killed following an apartment fire Christmas morning in Columbus.

Columbus and Fire and EMS say they responded to a call of a fire at the apartments at 4312 Old Macon Road Wednesday at 5:00 a.m.

Columbus Fire and EMS Division Chief John Shull tells WRBL there was one fatality. Chief Shull also says as many as 12 people may be displaced on this Christmas due to the fire.
