COLUMBUS, Ga. ( WRBL ) — If you’re driving in North Columbus, you may want to be aware that a 30-day warning period has begun for two photo-enforced school speed zones in the area.

Midland Middle School on Warm Springs Road and Blanchard Elementary School on Weems Road both entered the warning period on Jan. 7, according to Columbus Police. That means the cameras have been activated, but only warning citations will be given out for the next month.
