COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) – Former longtime Columbus city councilwoman Judy Thomas has died, according to Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan.
The coroner confirmed that Thomas died on Saturday at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta. She stepped down from her position as District 9 councilor at-large last month, a role she had held since 2010, due to ongoing health challenges.
