Developments around South Commons in Columbus gaining momentum

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) – An area in Columbus that many say has usually been slow for development is finally gaining momentum for future growth.

Mayor Skip Henderson said several business developers are showing interest in being located in South Commons near Synovous Park, home of the Clingstones. He said this could bring $300 million to the Fountain City.

Between Double-A baseball back and the Columbus United soccer Team announcing AJ McClung as their new home, some residents feel this is a great way to attract business and tourists and are excited for what’s to come…
