COLUMBUS, Ga. ( WRBL ) — Bicycle Columbus will host four events throughout the month of May to celebrate National Bike Month, including their ‘Ride with the Mayor’ event.
National Bike Month encourages and promotes safe cycling for both transportation and recreation. Bicycle Columbus has organized four events with it’s community partners to celebrate the month.
Below are the events Bicycle Columbus is hosting:
- Ride with the Mayor – Tuesday, May 6 at 6:00 p.m., Stage on the 1100 block of Broadway
- Bike to Work Day – Friday, May 16 from 7:00 – 9:00 a.m., Iron Bank Coffee Co.
- Ride of Silence – Wednesday, May 21 at 6:00 p.m., Woodruff Park
- Midtown Bike Around – Thursday, May 29 at 6:00 p.m., Dinglewood Park
