COLUMBUS, Ga. ( WRBL ) — The funeral service for at-large city councilor Judy Thomas is taking place at St. Luke Church, and the Columbus Police Department has announced street closures for the service.
According to CPD, on May 8, 2nd Ave. between 12th St. and 11th St. closed from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. will be closed to accommodate the service. The department says the closures are subject to change.
