Simple battery charges against former Columbus revenue manager dismissed by conflict prosecutor

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — Charges against a former city of Columbus Finance Department employee have been dropped, according to the assistant district attorney prosecuting the case.

Former Revenue Manager Yvonne Ivey was arrested last month on two counts of simple battery. The charges were filed last month after a 16-month investigation into the city’s Finance Department by the Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office.
