A weather alert was issued by the National Weather Service on Saturday at 3:18 p.m. for strong thunderstorms until 3:45 p.m. for Lee County.
Residents may experience wind gusts of up to 40 mph.
“At 3:18 p.m., Doppler radar tracked a strong thunderstorm over Waverly, or 7 miles southeast of Camp Hill, moving south at 5 mph,” states the weather service. “Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.”…
