Scattered PM Storms Through Midweek, Then Drier & Warmer!

Sunday is starting out dry but humid with temperatures hovering near 70° across the area. We’ll see scattered PM showers and storms fire up again today with highs near 90°. Like a typical Summer day, not everybody will see rain, but the good news is, many of you could see some rain over the first of the week for rain chances start to diminish and some warmer temps return.

THIS WEEK:We start out with scattered PM showers and storms each day with afternoon highs ranging from the upper 80s to low 90s through Wednesday. Then Thursday, those rain chances start to diminish with only stray showers Thursday, and right now, Friday and Saturday are looking dry. There will still be some moisture around, so we could still see a few pop-up showers or storms, but the majority of you will stay dry.

TROPICS:Tropical Depression Two is currently in the Bay of Campeche, but regardless if it reaches Tropical Storm strength or not, it poses no risk to the lower 48. We will be watch the Gulf and the southeast coast for some possible development as a stalled out front late week could be the focus for some development, but exactly when and where remain to be seen. There could also be no development. So, stay tuned for the latest!…
