A Columbus woman found shot and killed in the southern end of the city has been identified.
Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan says 53-year-old Mozelle Barbee was shot by another person and suffered gunshot wounds to the top of the head and lower back. Barbee was pronounced dead at 6:40 P.M. on Saturday, July 5, 2025.
