COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) – Another day of scattered showers and storms for Friday before a ridge of high pressure strengthens its grip over the Valley during the weekend. This will act to limit a lot of the rain and increase the heat.
Mostly sunny at first Friday before turning partly sunny. We’ll still have a bit of a breeze at times, but that’s keeping our humidity high. Showers and storms will start developing over east Alabama during the morning primarily after 9 or 10 AM ET with coverage expanding as we go throughout the afternoon.
