Chattanooga survives weather delay and Columbus drops third-straight
COLUMBUS, Ga., — At a ball park far, far away… the Columbus Clingstones’ (11-13, 37-53) losing skid extended to three despite an eight-hit performance. The Chattanooga Lookouts (12-11, 50-39) spoiled Star Wars night and gave the Stones a 6-2 loss on Friday night at Synovus Park.
Friday night’s contest was a resumption from July 24 after weather caused unplayable field conditions in the top half of the first. The slate for Friday night was originally supposed to be a doubleheader, however, a two-hour rain delay caused the second half of the double feature to be rescheduled for July 26th…
