An updated flash flood warning was issued by the National Weather Service on Saturday at 6:39 p.m. in effect until 7:15 p.m. for Lee County.
“At 6:39 p.m., Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms recently produced heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Flooding impacts will continue, but little to no additional rainfall is expected,” according to the weather service. “Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.”…
