COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) – The below average warmth continues with a mostly dry end to the workweek. More moisture is expected to move in from the east and southeast over the weekend leading to rising rain chances.

Some clouds at first on this Thursday. It will be mostly sunny to partly cloudy during the afternoon. There is a slight chance of a shower or storm, especially south. However, the vast majority stay dry and won’t see any rain nearby with some drier air overhead. Highs in the mid to upper 80s. The warmest spot may come close to 90 degrees.

Partly cloudy Thursday night. A stray shower possible early. Lows early Friday in the upper 60s to near 70 degrees.
